I was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida and have called Gainesville home for the last 23 years. I moved to Gainesville shortly after completing my bachelor’s degree to start a business with my father. For the next 18 years, we built a multi-unit restaurant operation in Gainesville and Orlando. We built our units from blueprint to turn-key. As the owner/operator, I handled all day-to-day functions as well as staff development, forecasting, vendor relations, compliance, and profit/loss management. After close to two decades of running the stores, I sold them to new owners. Going through the sales and acquisition process intrigued me and I desired to help other business owners navigate through this as well. To that end, I secured a real estate license, specifically to join the same local business brokerage firm I used when I was a client.

Another passion of mine is international missionary work. I have led teams to Kenya and the far west basin of the Amazon River in Brazil. I serve as the director of operations for Amazon Vision Ministries, a non-profit missions organization. I also hold a master’s degree in theological studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

My wife, Melissa, is a director at the University of Florida, and our four children (ages 15 to 2) attend Countryside Christian School. Family time is very important to us. We love going to sports games, school activities, or just a day at the beach!
