Jenny Highlander

Biography:

A fourth generation native Floridian, I was born and raised in West Palm Beach and moved north over the years - first to Deland where I attended Stetson University and then to Gainesville where I earned my master's degree from the University of Florida. After a successful career in the biotech industry with a focus on communications, marketing and investor relations, I decided to leave the corporate world to pursue a my long-time dream of a career in real estate. My family has always been heavily involved in the construction and building industry as well as real estate investment and I was looking for a career change that would allow me to use my communications skill set with the flexibility and ownership that being an agent brings. I have lived in Alachua County since 2002 and now reside in the city of Alachua with my husband Josh, an engineering and construction consultant, and our two young boys. I am active in the community, currently serving on the executive team for the Gainesville Junior League as well as a past participant of Leadership Gainesville and Leadership Stetson. I enjoy volunteering in the community through the league as well as Anthem Church. Personally, I enjoy running, reading, exploring the parks and activities Gainesville has to offer with my boys and anything that gets me on or near the water. I believe my attention to detail, ability to relate to all types of homeowners and investors, and my genuine desire to help all of my clients successfully buy or sell a home will be exactly what you are looking for to make this process enjoyable and easy. I look forward to working with you!
