Born in the Philippines, I grew up in the cold arctic winters of Manitoba, Canada and moved here in Gainesville, where I went to high school and received my Interior Design/Architecture degree from the University of Florida. Firmly rooted in a medical family, I spent my early career within the medical industry where I owned my own business. I later found myself in academia working both in Santa Fe College and later at the University of Florida. For 15 years, I worked in UF’s Student Affairs Division, where I advocated for and educated about multiculturalism and inclusion. Property investment and preservation design and construction have always remained an interest. My big Aha! Moment was in realizing that I can bridge my love of homes from my degree with the work that I have been doing for so many years in communications and marketing. I reconnected and married an old high school classmate, who after several years of travelling the world, decided to settle back “home”. We have a pair of twins who are now entering high school and who are very active in soccer and in the arts. Believing in pairs, we also have two dogs that we rescued. My friends and colleagues describe me as organized, engaged, compassionate and all-encompassing. I am deeply connected to my heritage and believe in traditions and in the importance of finding a place and community. I cannot wait to meet with you and connect you to your new “home".
