Chantelle Smith

Biography:

Born in Heidelberg, Germany, I have made Gainesville, Florida home for the past 13 years. Back in 2009, I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Family, Youth, and Community Science and a minor in Leadership. I am proud to have finished my master's of Business Administration degree from St. Leo University in 2016. I have had the golden opportunity to working in many different careers thus far. I have enjoyed working as a rehabilitation therapist, family care counselor, administrative assistant, and an assistant property manager. These experiences have allowed me to gain insight on the importance of employing great customer service. I knew I had a passion for real estate when I wanted to own property for ministry reasons in other countries. Having the opportunity to help sellers, buyers, and investors with their property needs is something I knew I could also be a resource for. I currently work as a financial representative teaching people how to create, maintain, and transfer wealth as a legacy for generations to come. I enjoy encouraging people to experience the freedom that comes with having a developed financial plan in place—both professionally and personally. I am an active member of the Family, Youth, and Community Sciences Alumni Relations Committee. Over the years I have volunteered with helping teenage pregnant mothers at Pleasant Place, assisting with the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County, and serving as a volunteer at Joseph Williams Elementary School. Serving with the youth ministry and conference events at my local church have allowed me to focus on working with people of different ages and backgrounds. I have three beautiful children that I call my “three amigos” and as a family we love to enjoy good laughs with family and friends. I enjoy music, exercising (and eating), meeting new people, helping others jump-start their business ideas, and traveling.  I am a woman of the Christian faith who serves to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I pride myself in multicultural competence and the affordability it provides to better serve my clients whom seek to make the Gainesville area a place to call home. I like to build both my professional and personal relationships through active listening and my passion to serve.
