Welcome to Gainesville! Home of The University of Florida and The Florida Gators!
Having moved to Gainesville in 1974, I know and love this community, and hope that you will come to love it too. Gainesville is home to Florida's largest and oldest university, and is one of the state's centers of education, medicine, cultural events and athletics. The University of Florida and Shands Hospital at UF are the leading employers in Gainesville and provide jobs for many residents of surrounding counties. Known for its preservation of historic buildings and the beauty of its natural surroundings, Gainesville's numerous parks, museums and lakes provide entertainment to thousands of visitors. Because of its beautiful landscape and urban "forest," Gainesville is considered one of the most attractive cities in Florida that are not often found in communities as small as ours. People often comment, Gainesville is small enough to always know someone, but big enough to always meet new people.

We are always available for you and can easily schedule an appointment to see you. Give us a call today at 352-219-3845. and welcome to the Gainesville area!

Photo Above: The Century Tower is a 157-foot-tall carillon tower in the center of the University of Florida campus begun in 1953 to serve as a memorial for students and alumni who perished in both World Wars I and II. Not without years of problems, in 1979 a Dutch firm designed, fabricated and installed the carillon bells. In 2002, a major gift made possible the addition of twelve treble bells, for a total of 61, a revision of the carillon playing action, and provision of a complete studio practice clavier with sound samples from ten major carillons throughout the world. The Century Tower Carillon of sixty-one bells was completed in its present form and dedicated on September 11, 2003. In 2008 the Century Tower became a contributing property in the University of Florida Campus Historic District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. There are local myths and sayings pertaining to the Century Tower.
